CA’s eTrust IAM Toolkit Builds Identities Into Apps
The eTrust Identity and Access Management Toolkit (eTrust IAM Toolkit) from Computer Associates enables developers to build consistent and manageable identity-based security within their business applications.
The new release is aimed at enabling policy-based security management, at unifying the compliance process and improvement responsiveness in change management. eTrust IAM Toolkit provides a software development kit that lets developers embed a common set of fine-grained, identity-based security controls within applications.
Developers can leverage the existing security infrastructure by using resource and user attributes defined in centralized user stores and other enterprise systems, such as human resource and ERP applications.
The eTrust IAM Toolkit can be used with CA’s eTrust Admin and with other directory systems including Microsoft Active Directory, Novell eDirectory and Sun ONE Directory. Pricing for the eTrust IAM Toolkit starts at $5,000.
