- Artykuł w blog-u wioota na temat rozwoju JS. Jest tam odnośnik do serwisu http://www.quirksmode.org/. Występuje wiele postaci z adresami do ich stron, np. Ben Nolan ze swoją biblioteką behawioralną (on sam zrezygnował z jej prowadzenia i przeszedł na stronę jQuery). Bardzo krytycznie ustosunkowano się do eksperymentu z własnością prototype występującą w każdym obiekcie w bibliotece Prototype, pochwalono YUI oraz EXT. Ciekawe oprogramowanie z sourceForge
- TCPDF – biblioteka do tworzenia plików o formacie PDF w PHP (pozwala na konwersję HTML do PDF i tworzenie formularzy PDF z elementami HTML-wego dialogu ze wsparciem JS w dokumencie PDF)
- ZK – Simply Ajax and Mobile. Obiecujący framework – ciekawe podejście – tworzymy wszystko w Ajax, zaś serwer aplikacji jest nam potrzebny po to aby zassać lub zapisać dane do baz na serwerze. Mam nawet swego RAD-a w oparciu o Eclipse
- TinyMCE – znany komponent do wspierania edycji wzbogaconej o możliwości zbliżone do MS Word
- Inny framework w Javie – OpenXAVA – strona domowa - http://www.openxava.org/web/guest/home – to samo podejście ale w oparciu o PJO + JPA

Eclipse 4 (E4)
Na konferencji EclipseCon 2009 organizacj a Eclipse Foundation przedstawi swe prace rozwojowe nad wersją 4 (spodziewaną w 2010) w zakresie:
- Jądra środowiska – dostęp zdalny do środowiska wytwórczego poprzez przeglądarkę na zasadzie serwisów , zwiększenie elestyczności GUI poprzez oparcie go deklarowanie w XML
- Postawienie na SOA i szyny korporacyjnej w oparciu o Swordfish (na bazie zaleceń OSGi)
- Wciągnięcie serwera Jetty do siebie (jako małego i wydajnego serwera aplikacji w Javie). W czerwcu będzie dostępna wersja Jetty 7 wspierająca specyfikację Java servlet 3..
- Implementacja architektury JPA 2.o w postaci EclipseLink 1.1.
